Tell us the McBets origin story. How did you get introduced to the world of handicapping and what inspired you to begin sharing your picks with the community?

I personally had been gambling for a while, and different Twitter handicapping accounts were popping up on my feed. After I saw some of their work, I thought it would be cool to show the people what I was playing. I created the account to try and help people be more knowledgeable with gambling and to be more successful.

What is your greatest learning experience from your handicapping journey?

The only way to be successful in gambling is to have a strict unit scale and to always follow it.

One of the most impressive aspects of your game is your consistency. Throughout sports and leagues, you have been a consistently profitable capper since going “live” in July 2021. How do you stay locked in and disciplined when there's so much change and volatility across the sports calendar?

I really try to hone in on certain sports. If I am off on a sport, then I will start to pass on it and not force. My goal is to be profitable each month, so whichever sport I am having success with that month, I will stick with it. For example, I couldn't get a hang of the NBA with all of the different covid stuff this year, so I haven't played NBA in the last two months.

You're a tremendous UFC capper. MMA is known for being extremely volatile: how do you work through a given card to identify value?

UFC is one of the hardest sports to cap in my opinion. You could do all the research and have a great read, but one flying knee or reverse spinning elbow could end someone at any time. I try to really focus in on certain spots, especially, some dog shots that I think have value. It takes a lot of work to be successful at UFC and I am learning each event.

It's March - the best time of the year, especially for a capper like you who has been tremendously successful in NCAAB. What advice do you have for bettors who are turning their focus to the college hardwood for the first time this year?

I would tell them to focus on the long run and to follow a bankroll system to be successful during the tournament!

2022 has been off to a scorching hot start for you. +11.39u in January, +30.58u in Feb, and a great start in March. How do you describe what it feels like when you're in this kind of a groove? And have you made any specific tweaks in 2022 that have further accelerated your profitability?

It feels great to start off this hot, but I stay humble and keep putting in the work. Gambling is always difficult and there will always be hot runs and cold runs, so I try to limit the cold runs as much as possible. When I'm running hot, I try to capitalize on those runs as much as possible. Staying smart and strict to a unit system is what I believe has allowed me to be so successful since starting my capping career.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

DubClub makes it much easier for me to focus on researching sports and not have to worry about the managing clients side of this business. It also has made my subscribers enjoy their experience even more because they never have to worry about missing a play because of all of the different paths of communication they can choose.

Tell us the Sharp Selections origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did SharpMinds247 the Twitter capper come to life?

The journey of SharpMinds247 all started way back in college. Like many others, I would tail capper plays on twitter and even buy subs from some of them. Most of the time I would lose but I started to learn the way of capping from what I saw online. I created my account in 2016 as kind of a “joke” to see what I could make of it and I am glad I did. I forget what summer it was but around 2018 I still had a low following but I started to get noticed by bigger accounts on twitter due to my successful NHL plays. A few RTs later from them, which I didn't ask for, the followers began pouring in. Before you knew it, I had 5k followers, then 10k, and now sitting around 15.4k 6 years later. Be patient is all I am going to say for any new aspiring cappers. It took me almost 2-3 years to get over 2k following but my following has expanded quickly since. Be yourself, interact with other cappers but don't over do it, and be honest/transparent. If you have good results, the followers will come.

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping career?

TRANSPARENCY. When you post plays on twitter, you need to provide the vig. Anyone can hit 60% on -200 plays but at the end of the day that means your P/L is negative. Post the vig and track your plays for all to see. I have also learned a ton about expected value and finding ways to gain value through this method. In college I would look at a game and say I think the Redwings lose this game. What I didnt think about is the % that they should lose that game and this is technically how you should bet. It's not about who wins or loses, but if you think Redwings lose 6/10 times then any line under -150 for the favorite is giving you value. A line of Flyers -200 would suggest that they win 6.7/10 times so in terms of value, there isn't much there and maybe the redwings is the real side providing value on that given night depending on their + money.

I've seen a lot of cappers in the Twitter ecosystem, but no one is quite like you when it comes to pushing out a ton of volume + quality of plays in “off the beaten track” sports: Euro hockey, golf, tennis, etc. How did you stumble into some of your niche specialty leagues and sports? And why has this been such a successful approach for you?

I have played hockey my whole life so it wasn't hard for me to spark interest in overseas puck. There are actually a lot of ex NHL players and future NHL players who play in many of these leagues, some of which were my favorite players. So over the last 6 years I have learned about many different leagues over there and a lot of times the same teams dominate/struggle. You learn fast about what teams can score goals and what leagues score goals vs the ones that don't, etc. In terms of golf, it is right up there with one of my favorite sports. I watch golf religiously and have found ways to exploit their markets via multiple tools online which provide me with strokes gained data. I do a good job analyzing this SG data for round by round betting and created “the stack” but I don't usually play many other outrights in a given tourney. I think this approach has been so successful because not many other cappers dive into these markets. This way I can attract a separate audience and distinguish myself. Oftentimes the market can be caught “sleeping” in these niche sports since they are overwhelmed with mainstream sports, especially around this time in November when they are all in action. Of course I follow the NFL/MLB/NBA pretty closely and have my own “personal bets” and fantasy leagues but I stick to what has got me here.

Talk us through your research process on a daily basis. There's not nearly as much data available to the public in your specialty sports, and you certainly won't be finding any analysts on ESPN or sports talk radio talking about the Kontinental Hockey League… Where do you find your edge in these less covered leagues?

I have found a few websites that provide statistics per leagues/teams and I follow multiple oversea beat writers that provide articles which I'll read to get caught up on the latest news. I won't give away the exact sites but at the end of the day it just comes down to the passion I have for these sports. I wake up early and check lineups using apps like flashscore. I try to exploit scheduling situations. For example in Russian Hockey, you can play one game on Monday and then have to travel 12 hours the next day to play another team. Russia is massive and there are a lot of bad scheduling spots to exploit. Some leagues also just lack talent and goals pour in. I can go on and on but I will save time for now. I'm always happy to chat via DM if you want more information.

What challenges exist with capping for sports abroad that might surprise your members? Time zone issues? Finding English language broadcasts? Reliable in-game score monitoring? What rings a bell for you and what am I missing?

I think the biggest issues can be the lack of data at times. I like to wait for lineups before I post plays and there are times where games start at 5 am ET. I'm not sure all of my subs can get all the plays I post accordingly. Sometimes it holds me back because I do have another job for now and do not do this full time. Juggling both can be a grind and a struggle which can often lead to a cold streak. Another thing I can think of is that there are many obscure bets/leagues that I post. I doubt that my following can get all of these leagues. I guess you could say they should find more outs but at the end of the day it isn't realistic. Therefore, I try to find a happy medium and post relatively well known leagues at reasonable times to give them enough time to place the bet(s).

What got you excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

I think the most important thing to me about using DubClub has been the energy and passion from you, the creators. I know that you have our backs when using this service and want the best for all of us. It has never been about the money for me but 6 years of minimal tips off of 60 hr/weeks became tiresome. I can't wait to see where this network will go.

Last and most important question. If you were playing third base for the Yankees tomorrow night, what would be your walkout song?

Hmm this is a tough one. I like to listen to country when I'm in the car or on walks with the dog but when I'm working out I like to listen to a lot of rap. I think if i wanted to get hype it would be the latter so id say as of right now it'd be “In Da Ghetto” - J Balvin.

Tell us theHobbyCapper's origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into Gambling Twitter and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

In college I made about $400 a month at my part time job and that alone was not enough to cover my expenses. Honest to God I didn't eat some days and sometimes went without running the AC or Heat just to save on the bills. It was a pretty difficult and dark time in my life. One night, some fellow classmates were rooting on this player prop and won a few hundred dollars. At the time, $300 extra would have gone a long way for me and I was intrigued. That was the first time that I was really exposed to sports betting. About a month later they helped me get set up and that's when this all started for me. This didn't happen overnight and those that claim it does are lying. I hit big, I went broke, I borrowed money, I paid back money and everything possible happened to me. It took a good three years for me to finally turn “gambling” into “handicapping”, and there is a difference. When I was gambling, many times there weren't rhyme or reason. It was gut check bets, backing my favorite teams, and big parlays. I really can't put a finger down for when it switched for me but over time I started to put more and more effort into the research. I went from gambling to handicapping; making bets with a certain confidence. It's hard to explain, but if you know you know. From there I just did my own thing for myself and was very good at it. About 5 years into doing it for myself a friend mentioned that Twitter had a pretty good space for gambling, fantasy football and the such so I jumped in… and here we are.

What is the greatest learning from your handicapping career?

The biggest thing that I've learned in my career is patience and discipline. My VIPs know how much I stress those two things. I always preach that having the right mentality for this lifestyle is far more important than actually winning. If you have a good approach, winning will come. But, it's how you handle the slumps, the bad luck and the down times that will determine whether you'll be profitable long-term or not. Keep your mind right and good things will happen.

Your long-term consistency is eye-catching. In an industry with so many “roller coaster” high volatility cappers, you've been profitable 71 of your last 87 weeks and 20 of your last 21 months. What is it about your approach that allows you to be profitable week after week?

Our whole regime is week by week, month by month, and brick by brick. Our low volume and strict unit scale approach really allows me to stay on schedule. If we are running well, we are pressing. If not, we are pumping the breaks and picking through the week to come out on top. At the end of the day, 1u profit a day makes for an unbelievable year. Think about it.

You're very regimented in the official plays you send subscribers. Your card typically consists of 1-2 extensively researched plays. How do you maintain such elite discipline, especially when the sports calendar is so busy with a ton of games across sports?

You know what you know and for me that's MLB NFL NCAAF and CBB. I stick to my four sports and keep busy year round. The problem with most gamblers is volume. Plain and simple: too much volume and poor money management is why Vegas keeps building buildings. I truly don't have any need to go beyond my four sports, as I'm plentifully successful already.

I love your no-nonsense style and commitment to transparency and communicativeness. There are so many larger than life personalities in this business - how do you stay so grounded and data-driven?

I like being under the radar. I have played that role for basically my entire two years on Twitter. What you'll find is that all of the flashy and noisy accounts aren't long-term winners. All drama aside, it's just the truth. You won't find many “larger than life” personalities and large accounts that document their picks, that post longterm records or anything. That should tell you enough. I stick to what I do and what I know and care for my VIPs day in and day out. My time will come when my account has grown to limits that I didn't think were possible when I first started. When it happens, all my guys will be coming with me!

It's clear that subscriber engagement is extremely important to you. Whether it's being available for direct messaging, unique promos, or extended free trials, you are constantly pushing the envelope to delight your subscribers. Why has this been the right approach for you? And what should subscribers expect from you as a trusted advisor?

My VIPs are everything to me and being available to them is my goal. I don't live this lifestyle and be my own boss without first a dedication to my craft, to be successful at it and my VIPs. I take winning and losing personally for them. They keep me ticking and motivated each and every day.

Tell us the JammerBets origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your picks with the community?

The initial idea of the Jammer Bets page was to house and track all of my plays in one space. Before creating the page in late 2020, I had not heard of #GamblingTwitter or knew of the outreach it had. I thought that what I was doing was revolutionary until I saw how many other cappers there were on this app. This sparked my competitive nature, because sure there are a lot of fish in this gambling sea, but my goal was to prove that I was the best.

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

The best piece of advice I can give out to anyone who is trying to make it as a handicapper or as a casual bettor is that you need to control your emotions. It's always going to be US vs THE BOOKS, giving in to temptation/emotion is what the books want from you. There are going to be winning and losing streaks, try to keep a level head during both, don't get too high or too low.

You're a high volume handicapper. How do you stay disciplined with elite bankroll management and how do you message that to subscribers?

Staying level headed, similar to what was said above. Don't get too high or too low. We have all been in a situation where we lose a couple bets in a row, we see our balance diminishing and we think “oh man, if I hit one big bet right now I can make up for those losses”. Sure you might hit once or twice, but you are going down a dangerous path that likely leads to a depleted balance. I always advise subscribers to stick to a strict bankroll (1U = 1% of bankroll), because this will surely lengthen your time in the gambling space. If you are treating this as a “get rich quick” activity, you'll be quickly reminded how much of an advantage that the books have. My goal is to build your bankroll by riding the waves (ups AND downs) and finding advantages wherever we can over the books, which will lead to long term profits.

You're a master of NBA and MLB plays. These regular seasons are notoriously “marathons, not sprints.” How do you stay locked in betting every game with long, tiring seasons like the NBA and MLB?

“When you do what you love, you'll never work a day in your life”. I find this quote to be so true in this space because it's a passion, not just a one-off project that I was interested in for a month or two. My entire life has been surrounded by sports, playing year round as a kid, watching college and the pro's for as long as I can remember. In a way this just feels like an extension of those childhood dreams of somehow joining the sports world, I mean the fact that I can help make people money just by watching sports is such a great feeling.

What's next for JammerBets? Any plans on expanding to any other sports?

Like I said above, the plan is to stick around this space. For the time being, I am going to stick with what I know (NBA, MLB and NFL) but opening up to other major sports like college basketball or football could be in the near future. Another area I'd like to eventually move into would be the content side of #GamblingTwitter, doing more write-ups and making appearances on twitter spaces or youtube to talk over the games. I have a method to my madness, but being able to put it into words or writing has not always been easy for me, so this is a goal that I am currently working on.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

The most exciting thing about using DubClub is just how easy it is and how their team is constantly improving the product to make it easier for us cappers and also for the subscribers. Tell us the Viggy Bets origin story. Where did the Viggy name come from (it's one of my favorites in the industry)? How did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into Twitter and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

Thank you for the kind words and the welcoming into the VIP industry. Viggy is inspired by my Italian last name “Vigliotti”. It was one of my nicknames growing up, so it was easy for me. And “Vig” is a common term used with sports betting. That's a coincidence though :). When I created my Twitter profile in April of 2021, I initially named it “Viggy Parlay”. I wanted to be the best at parlays and have people tail me and win a lot of money. It worked well at first. Won two of my first three, but then it went downhill and the buzz was fading away. I needed to reinvent myself; thus Viggy Bets was born!

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping career?

The greatest lesson I've learned throughout my short Twitter handicapping career is a couple things: Discipline: I used to be a volume bettor. I would bet $2 on probably 20 to 30 games each night between college basketball, NBA, NHL and it absolutely drove me insane! I would be checking my phone constantly and sweating out the most ridiculous games because I craved the action. That was my personal betting style. Once I became an online Capper on Twitter, I realized it's about getting it right, not volume betting.Drain out the haters! I've gotten many DMs or replies to tweets with hate or threats because I made a bad read or a bet didn't cash. I used to take it personally, but trusting your knowledge and methods and blocking the hater accounts is better in the long term than getting worked up about it. Taking hate personally will make your time in this industry very short.

Your CBB model has been firing on all cylinders this season. 67% win percentage this season and 70% win percentage since January 13. Without giving away your secret sauce, why do you think the model is so well tuned right now?

The “Viggy Model” is what I've dubbed the name of the CBB system. I know it's very creative. I have a NRFI system for baseball called the “Viggy Chart.” I'm taking applications for Creative Director. The Viggy Model takes into account a range of total points for the game based on offensive metrics from both teams. After reviewing and coming up with the projected range for each game, I then compare on multiple sports books and if there's a significant edge in either direction we have a model play. If the total falls inside the range, it's an automatic no play. It's hitting really well because we're so well established in the season where the numbers are not as inflated anymore. There's been enough games for each team to truly know who they are and what to expect.

In addition to texting your subscribers model plays and outputs, your DubClub feed is full of super robust written analysis, advice, and scenario planning (if a subscriber can't get the same number or odds). Why is it so important for you to flesh out the analysis behind the plays you push out?

The analysis is paramount and I believe that is what separates me from other cappers in this industry. Not that others don't provide commentary, but I provide in depth analysis, betting trends and the Viggy Model projection which should make any client feel confident. The analysis is also important to refer back to whether a bet hits or misses. If the bet hits and the analysis is spot on, it provides further validation of the play. If the bet misses, the analysis is strong and sometimes the ball doesn't always bounce your way and we'll get it next time! I am also aware my clients don't always have the necessary time for the research, so this is the service I provide along with my plays to make my clients feel confident. For the VIggy Model, I will always put a number that is playable too. That way if my client(s) come in later and the line changes, they will know if the play is still worth it.

In addition to your fantastic CBB coverage, you are known as a super sharp MLB capper as well. With the season just around the corner, is now the time to make adjustments to your MLB model? Or will that come with Opening Day?

The “Viggy Chart” is my No Run First Inning GEM. Another creative name, right?! The first couple months of the season I was just getting by at 52%. I created my Viggy Chart, did some testing and unveiled it after the All Star Break. From that point onward, the NRFI's cashed at 63% the remainder of the season. The Viggy Chart has a numerical grading model which lets me know if each category is a play. I am always looking at different ways of enhancing the chart and making it better. Although hitting at 63% is pretty darn good I'd say. The beginning of the 2022 season (whenever that starts) will present its challenges with players changing teams. It will be a completely different season, so there will always be enhancements and adjustments.

You built an amazing audience on Twitter primarily through free plays before recently launching your premium (but SUPER affordable) package. Why was now the right time to roll out a premium offering? And why did you price it so competitively at $9.99/month? An absolute steal for the work you put in and the value you provide.

I ultimately wanted a new challenge within the capping industry. Plus I was spending a significant amount of time doing this for free. Let's just say I'm making the wife happy with the new transition. $9.99/month & $99.99/year is an absolute steal! I just like 9's what can I say! I knew there was going to be a transition period with moving to a VIP subscription format. My Twitter following could take a hit early on because many just followed for my free plays and once they found out I made a VIP they would unfollow… That was a reality for the first week to 10 days. I can't do anything about it. I can only control what I can control. But I also had a ton of subscribers early on in the process and am growing incrementally every day now and I'm so thankful! With starting a VIP, I believe that I am reinventing myself again. There's a difference between giving out free plays + analysis to then charging people for it. My goal for 2022 is to make it affordable and build relationships with all my clients. I want a full 12 months to establish Viggy Bets as one of the best professional handicappers in the industry. Like any quality subscription service, pricing will be evaluated on an annual basis. Clients should expect the $9.99/month or $99.99/year pricing to stay for the remainder of 2022. Once 2023 rolls around, pricing may adjust, but remain affordable for all clients.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

I never could have imagined the positive and fruitful impact DubClub has made on me thus far. Not only is the team at DubClub fantastic to work with, but they were extremely helpful with the onboarding process and are readily available day or night to answer any questions. DubClub's texting feature is a game changer within the industry. It's extremely difficult to keep up with all your favorite cappers on Twitter or Instagram. They'll make a Tweet and if you're not keeping up with them throughout the day, you'll have to scroll through their feed to find the plays. It makes it time consuming and difficult to follow. Tell us the Line Movers LLC origin story. What is the makeup of the team and how did you join forces to create the handicapping behemoth that is Line Movers LLC?

Well to start with the team is made up of myself (JD), Drew, and Brandon. Drew actually created the page as High Tide Sports Investing and ran it up until the middle of December. Drew and I used to be neighbors. We have been capping together for over 10 years now. He no longer had the time to run the page he had built and asked if I'd want to take it over. I knew absolutely nothing about Twitter, but decided to give it a shot if he showed me how Gambling Twitter worked. After some brainstorming I came up with the idea of Line Movers. I thought Twitter needed a capping page that covered almost all major sports after doing my Twitter research. At that point is when I called Drew and another old friend of mine Brandon and asked if they would like to be part of this. Both loved the idea and roles they would play. So right before the start of 2022 Line Movers LLC was born and that's what everyone is seeing now.

What is your greatest learning experience from your handicapping journey?

Always be learning! No matter how long you've been doing this you can always be learning. Some of my best edges from two years ago no longer work. Learning new markets and finding new edges I believe is key. Perfect example is all of the fade the public cappers. That angle doesn't work the way it used to. None of us here even look at money and bet percentages anymore. We cap each game individually.

You are an insane and long-term heater since you started using DubClub. You're up over 25 units since Valentine's Day and up over 120 units in 2022. How do you describe the groove you're in right now?

It has been a dream start to the year for us. Our confidence is high in our process and it's working as everyone can see by our stats. We just want to stay consistent and never get too high or low at any point during the year.

Your 3-headed monster approach is very unique and gives subscribers coverage across many sports. How do you guys work together so well? And what does your team decision-making process look like?

I believe we work so well together because of our relationship away from sports investing. At the end of the day we are 3 guys who are good friends that share a passion for sports. Trust is also a big factor. We know what each other's capping strengths are so when someone sends a play in it's never questioned. We all focus on those certain areas we are strong in and it has been very effective so far.

You follow a classic 1-3 unit style approach and your 3 unit plays have been on fire: 11-3 YTD. Without giving away too much secret sauce, what are some of the triggers that drive you to tag a play as a 3 unit play?

There are a lot of variables to making a play a 3 Unit Top Play. We create our own lines so we have to be showing enough value there to even start the process. Then we each have a different type of checklist we go through to try and figure out why our line is so far off from the sportsbook. If everything checks out and we have that certain edge (either number of points or percentage off a ML) we make the bet. That was a very simple overview of what we do haha. Some weeks we might not have a 3 unit play, while others we could have 10. It's all about the numbers for us.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

What excited us the most about Dub Club was the fact everyone gets our plays in real time. That way everyone can get the same lines we are. We love to bet early lines the night before and those can move fast. Subscribers also don't have to worry about missing a tweet. We have had such positive feedback so far and glad to be a part of the Dub Club team!

Tell us the AlphaDogBets origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your plays with the community?

So I originally started my journey when I was working right outside Disney World in hospitality. I worked my entire life in the hospitality industry, and ended up moving to Disney World post graduate. After 5-6 years of working in the industry I realized I did not want to do that forever. I saw a TV show called action that introduced me to the World of handicapping. I have always been into sports betting and always was good at it so I created the account with the idea to do this on the side for some gas money and to have fun with my followers. It quickly turned into a second full time job, where I was working in an office 9-6 daily, and from 6-3am daily I would work on content creation and building my brand. When Covid hit, I made the decision to dive into this full time and pursue this with 100% of my effort, and to this day has been the best decision I have made in my life.

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

My greatest learning experience has been compassion and passion, wanting to help others and the desire to be great at what you do.

What is the key to keeping a hot streak going, as it seems you've been able to do since the start of the NBA Playoffs?

Sticking to what I do and not betting outside my norm, not over betting, and making smart reads.

As a high-volume capper, how do you continue to successfully manage your bankroll while sending out 7+ plays per day?

By not betting too many units on one play, and picking our spots smartly.

I guess I would have to go back to my dad giving me those old parlay slips back in the day. That was my introduction to the concepts of spreads and totals. I was always involved in march madness pools and fantasy football back when you had to look up your stats in the newspaper the following day. Damn, I am really dating myself here. But those were my beginning days in terms of the origin of my capping career. The Twitter capper part, the Lucha Larry concept came in late 2019. I had recently left my old career and was thinking of what I wanted to do next. The idea of becoming a handicapper and running my own business had always been a dream of mine and I figured it was time to actually give it a shot or I would regret never taking the chance. So I started the account and began giving out free plays for a couple of months to gain a decent following and show everyone my ability for free before offering the service. The timing was great and awful at the same time. It was at the height of my top sport season (CBB) but was quickly ended by Covid. Once sports resumed, I was able to build back my audience and deliver consistent profits from month to month in all sports.

What's been your biggest learning from your experience capping?

Voiding emotion! Honestly, it is the #1 killer of good cappers and regular bettors. I can not tell you how many times I have seen other cappers have a rough day and follow it by doubling their unit size trying to get it all back. Same thing with regular public bettors, they are always impulsive after a tough or big loss. It's not easy but leaving that emotion out of the process is ENORMOUS! Take the losses, get pissed, vent, whatever else you want to do. But after that, let it go and move onto the next play. Your mind must be balanced when you begin your process, if not, you're work will only suffer.

Most handicappers find success focusing on a single sport or niche league. You've been very broad in your focus and successful across sports and leagues. Why has this broad approach worked for you?

That's a great question. It's probably my ADHD. Seriously though, I believe in finding edges in any sport I possibly can. Why limit myself to one sport? I found myself trying to stay in one or two sports for a bit and I would inevitably start forcing plays and making bad decisions. Using all sports at my disposal allows me to trim the fat quickly off of each sport and then I have the ability to dive deeper into the remaining matchups.

A big calling card for you historically has been college basketball. How do you think about finding value in college basketball? And what kinds of plays can members expect from you come basketball season?

To me, the value is typically in the Mid-Major programs in college basketball. There typically isn't much information out there at the ready for the public about these teams. There are typically smaller amounts of tickets on these games, which allows me to know information a bit earlier in comparison to the larger schools. We may see a ton of tickets and/or money come in late on the marquee games from the public, which can sway my analysis and leave me and my clients in a vulnerable spot on a play I released earlier. My subscribers can expect low units but high volume. My cards are typically between 8-10 plays daily on college basketball. On Saturdays, I typically send my clients 2 cards. The 1st being the early slate of games which will have 6-8 plays and a late slate card with roughly the same number of plays.

What got you excited about using DubClub and how will DubClub change the way you communicate with members?

I was excited about DubClub after my first conversation about the possibilities of the platform over a year ago. I was impressed by the passion of the creators and believed they would do anything to get a superior product in my hands as a capper and to my clients as a subscriber. The biggest change in communication for me and my clients has been the removal of all the noise that surrounds gambling twitter. They no longer need to sift through messages to find my plays. They get a text message on their phone, open it up and click the link and there are the plays!

Last and most important question. If you were playing third base for the Yankees tomorrow night, what would be your walkout song?

Tell us the HVH origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into Gambling Twitter and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

Picture this. March 2020. New apartment, and I mean brand new apartment. March 1st I move in… March 15th the world shuts down due to COVID. I get furloughed from work for what ended up being the entire spring and summer. I would sit on my couch every day from 5:30am to midnight, beer in hand more often than not, and I would bet on korean baseball, madden sims, and horse races at Gulfstream Park. The weirdest part about this was that I was pretty damn good at it too. Thus, HVH was born. Here I am almost two years later and I feel like the best is yet to come.

To the readers who may not be familiar with you, what does “HVH” stand for? And why are you proud to rep those letters as your handicapping persona?

Head. Value. Heart. Every gambler uses these three things whether they know it or not. The head is the easy one right, we all use our brains to make what we believe to be smart moves. We try to use common sense, we strategize, and then we pull the trigger on some plays. The value is in the lines. I have been guilty of making the same mistake over and over again for years, and that is the mistake of trying to get out of a hole with a tremendous bet at -250 odds, thinking there is absolutely no way this team gets upset. With so many games going on per night, there is value everywhere, whether it's a +140 play or a -150 play. Just do the research and find the angle that makes you most confident in the play. Heart is my favorite part of who we are because a lot of people disagree with this mindset. You hear all the time “you can't bet with your heart.” I say bullshit. “You can't bet on your own teams.” Why not?? I would argue that I know more about my Mets, Islanders, and Washington Football Team than any other teams in sports. Sometimes I bet on them, sometimes I bet against them. Sometimes I end up taking 1H bets or 1st inning bets or live bets or player props within their games. I'm more confident in those plays than any others more often than not. So I say go and bet with your heart, and that works in two ways. The first way is betting on games with your own teams involved, and the second is even more important, it's that hunch you always seem to have. If you have that weird feeling, that gut feeling that has no research and no reasoning behind it and nobody else is on board with that pick, PLACE THAT BET. You will regret not placing a winning bet more than you would regret placing a losing bet. Follow your heart.

You're a capper who plays a ton of different leagues and sports. I assume this is a crazy time of year for you with bowl season, NFL, NHL, and all CBB in full swing. How do you go about working through building out a card in this “peak season”?

Self-control. Something I admit I sometimes have none of. There are some days I want skin in every game, and some days I go with my top 3. Usually I end up doing the latter. I will run through every game and come away with my top 3, top 5, top 10, whatever it is, and then find the cutoff point. Find that point where I'm comfortable having these plays in my name, and obviously having my money invested in these picks as well. I have sent out cards with two plays before and I have sent out cards with twelve plays, it really just comes down to that cutoff point.

How have all the COVID protocol issues and last minute scratches created new challenges and opportunities for you?

I think COVID has created more value in plays. Teams that have lost one guy or two guys, especially in a sport like hockey, doesn't mean as much as the line movement indicates. The NBA is obviously a little different, and we don't really touch the NBA for a lot of reasons, but COVID I think has created some opportunities to bet on these teams at greater odds than usual that are “short handed” but still more than capable of competing and winning games.

Your long-term 64% win percentage is incredible. And you do it without being particularly aggressive when it comes to large unit plays. Why has this consistent, disciplined approach been the right one for you?

Every handicapper is different, and I would never suggest that someone does it the right way or the wrong way. However, I will say that I don't believe in a lot of the stuff I see throughout Gambling Twitter. “Lock of the Century”, “MAX BET”, “Whale Bet”, “50U Max Whale Bet Lock of the Century.” You get my point. In my opinion, that is either someone chasing money, or trying to sell/scam people, or both. You probably have noticed that I don't even give out my plays with unit amounts, instead I go with dollar amounts. I want to be as simple and easy to read, understand, and follow, and all of that helps me to stay focused on the long term success and staying disciplined. Stick to the script kind of approach every day.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

I think I'm very different and very unique compared to the other cappers out there. I think I am very relatable since I was and still am a degenerate gambler just like everyone else. In a lot of ways, I am no different than anyone else, and certainly do not know any more than anyone else. I just want people who follow me to believe in me and come along for the ride, all the highs and all the lows. I've had some great success but I want to get myself in front of even more people, and I think DubClub is a great opportunity to do exactly that. I want to help people make that side income money, that side hustle that everyone needs nowadays, and I have shown that I do just that for myself and those that have been with me since day one. On top of that, DubClub is also an easy way for everything to be documented, so there is no hiding how well or not so well I am doing. You have probably noticed that every day I put a recap at the bottom of my picks. I show how I did the day before, record and money won/lost, and also the overall record with money won/lost. Tell us the GirlWhoBets origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into Gambling Twitter and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

I got into handicapping about two years ago, but I watched my dad sportsbet since before I can remember and love tracking his parlays. Then one day in college I started looking at games and predicting them. I was winning more than losing and that's when I saw people on Twitter handicapping, picking plays. It made me want to make an account to share my winning plays with Twitter.

What is the greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

My greatest learning experience is that sports betting is a marathon not a sprint. There will always be bad days but don't let them define you. Manage your bankroll correctly at all times.

Your cards are loaded with NBA, NHL, and NFL right now. How do you remain focused and disciplined in this busy time of the sports calendar?

I do my research early and continue looking for value and the right plays until about 2 hours before the first game. I stick to what is working and try my best to always have more winning days than losing during the week

In addition to the loaded cards you push out before tipoff, you're also known for extremely profitable live plays. How do you think about finding value after the whistle blows?

I watch a lot of games and when I see a good live bet I like with value I fire away. Many times it is easier to cap a game live because you are watching the flow of the game happen and getting a feel for how it is going to go and it helps me make the best bet at the moment

It's no secret that handicapping is an industry dominated by men. What are some of the unique challenges and opportunities for a woman like yourself making her name in a historically male field?

Challenges are guys always judging and saying I don't belong here but I stay positive. I ignore all the negativity and focus on winning. I'll let my winning do the talking

How has being a trailblazer in this world made you a better handicapper?

I've learned from many from different handicappers and that's helped me get to where I am today. If you work hard enough, anything is possible.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

It has changed the way I communicate with my members because it is easier for everyone to get my VIP plays texted directly to them. The thing that got me most excited about DubClub is all the people who work for them and the cappers who use DubClub: great individuals to work with and very professional!

Tell us the SportsCurbside origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your plays with the community?

I've always been big on teamwork. And leading a team. When I found out my love for researching sports, building algorithms, and communicating with clients. I knew a job like this would be a perfect fit. Being able to lead a team to making money week in and week out is an awesome feeling.

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

My greatest learning experience was understanding that bad days will happen. No need to force plays if I don't have the proper edge on it. This has led to a lot of success for me and my clients.

Tell us about your thought process when it comes to taking larger plays. How do you decide what plays are worth more than your regular 1 unit plays?

Larger plays come down to a lot of things. I will typically run a few hour self search and note sheet, then work on running my algorithm to best predict the outcome. I also tend to take a quick look if the public is too heavy on either side. A lot goes into these big plays, and this year the work has paid off with them!

With the College World Series coming up and the NHL Playoffs currently ongoing, do postseason plays change your mindset at all going into a card?

100%! Playoffs make it a completely different game. Being able to notice when a team is in a good groove, or the bats are hot, changes everything. VIP has been hot with College Baseball and we look to keep that going in Omaha.

What's next for SportsCurbside? Any future plans to expand your platform or subscriber base?

I have a lot planned! I am planning a big College Football Package for this season. I am hoping that all Clients can come into it with the same bank, and we ride the same amounts on all plays. College Football is my expertise, and I think this season will continue. Everyday, I am looking for ways to find new edges and build updated algos. Only up from here!

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

A big thing for me is putting myself in the customer's shoes. If I were a customer and saw that I was able to receive plays VIA text, I'd be all over it. I love the community DubClub has built and the platform they have created, that continues to grow. DubClub has helped me a ton with managing client outreach, networking with new handicappers, and overall organization of my brand. I love and am excited for where this is headed!

Tell us the UnitKing origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did UnitKing777 the Twitter capper come to life?

I grew up near Atlantic City and began getting into sports betting around the age of 16. Once I hit college, I began to look into different algorithms and follow some of the biggest names in the industry. I learned about trend betting, line movement and proceeded to start gathering a ton of different variables that sharp bettors used to influence the line. Over time, I cross referenced my resources and began to implement a system of my own. As with any system, there were cold streaks and hot streaks but as time went on I started to gather more data in order to optimize my unit betting. Last year, I began posting my picks on Twitter for free and with the help of a few buddies I was able to grow the Unit King brand at a rapid rate. My success in Prime Time games and end of the season CFB and NFL grew my following 2-3x and I have been riding the wave ever since.

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping career?

The greatest lesson for me and anybody in this space is to know when you are hot and know when you are NOT. That is not just the case with sports betting but it is true in BlackJack and other games of choice as well. Instinctively, people tend to chase when they lose money which causes them to lose even more money. I try to look at each game as it's own trial just like flipping a coin; the moment you bring in emotion and memories into betting is when it can fall apart quickly.

Your 10-unit betting system is a super unique approach in this industry. How long have you been deploying this approach? And why is this the right strategy for you?

I implemented the 10-unit system over the last 3 years simply because I was hitting bets that my system was really high on at a rapid rate. Thus, I felt it made sense to lower the unit sizing and increase the variance. I have also heard many experienced bettors talk about only taking 1-2 games a week that they are really high on which speaks to my system as well.

I think your LOCKness Monster plays have officially reached legendary status in the Twitter world, and they've been tremendously profitable for your subscribers. What “sets off the alarm bells” for you when considering throwing that tag on a given play?

There are many factors that come into play for a LOCKness Monster to get tagged. With the system, I have 12 indicators that I look at for every game and if 9/12 of the indicators “hit” then that bet is a LOCKness Monster. It gets a bit more complex given that the indicators are not binary so there is a bit of massaging and cross referencing that needs to be done. Last year, the LOCKness Monsters hit at roughly a ~75% clip and the hit rate was even higher toward the end of the season. This is pretty standard as the year goes on because obviously more data becomes available.

This is a super exciting time of the year for bettors. CFB and NFL are in the heat of their seasons, the NBA is off to the races, and there is always a ton of value to be had in early season CBB. You're a guy who excels in all of these leagues. How do you remain focused and disciplined with so much action every night of the week?

It definitely is not easy. Traditionally, NBA and CBB have been undoubtedly my best sports but last year with Covid, players resting and so much uncertainty it was a real struggle. I have started off this year pretty hot in both NBA and CBB but I am definitely moving with caution. Not to mention, it is early in the season so I tend to try to scale back the units given the lack of data accessible. I will do extremely well in CFB and NFL through Nov-Jan so that is going to be the focus in the short term.

What got you excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

I think DubClub is efficient, interactive and it helps everyone involved. I previously had to individually DM every single person for a pick whereas now my bettors can get the full card in a matter of seconds. I think it will be interesting to see the way DubClub evolves and how the collaboration between the members and the capper changes as well. Definitely hyped about it.

Last and most important question. If you were playing third base for the Yankees tomorrow night, what would be your walkout song?

Fix You by Coldplay would be an unreal troll on AROD but honestly I cannot name a better song in the history of the world than Night Moves by Bob Seger. It's 50/50.

Tell us the Line Movers LLC origin story. What is the makeup of the team and how did you join forces to create the handicapping behemoth that is Line Movers LLC?

Well to start with the team is made up of myself (JD), Drew, and Brandon. Drew actually created the page as High Tide Sports Investing and ran it up until the middle of December. Drew and I used to be neighbors. We have been capping together for over 10 years now. He no longer had the time to run the page he had built and asked if I'd want to take it over. I knew absolutely nothing about Twitter, but decided to give it a shot if he showed me how Gambling Twitter worked. After some brainstorming I came up with the idea of Line Movers. I thought Twitter needed a capping page that covered almost all major sports after doing my Twitter research. At that point is when I called Drew and another old friend of mine Brandon and asked if they would like to be part of this. Both loved the idea and roles they would play. So right before the start of 2022 Line Movers LLC was born and that's what everyone is seeing now.

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping journey?

Always be learning! No matter how long you've been doing this you can always be learning. Some of my best edges from two years ago no longer work. Learning new markets and finding new edges I believe is key. Perfect example is all of the fade the public cappers. That angle doesn't work the way it used to. None of us here even look at money and bet percentages anymore. We cap each game individually.

You are an insane and long-term heater since you started using DubClub. You're up over 25 units since Valentine's Day and up over 120 units in 2022. How do you describe the groove you're in right now?

It has been a dream start to the year for us. Our confidence is high in our process and it's working as everyone can see by our stats. We just want to stay consistent and never get too high or low at any point during the year.

Your 3-headed monster approach is very unique and gives subscribers coverage across many sports. How do you guys work together so well? And what does your team decision-making process look like?

I believe we work so well together because of our relationship away from sports investing. At the end of the day we are 3 guys who are good friends that share a passion for sports. Trust is also a big factor. We know what each other's capping strengths are so when someone sends a play in it's never questioned. We all focus on those certain areas we are strong in and it has been very effective so far.

You follow a classic 1-3 unit style approach and your 3 unit plays have been on fire: 11-3 YTD. Without giving away too much secret sauce, what are some of the triggers that drive you to tag a play as a 3 unit play?

There are a lot of variables to making a play a 3 Unit Top Play. We create our own lines so we have to be showing enough value there to even start the process. Then we each have a different type of checklist we go through to try and figure out why our line is so far off from the sportsbook. If everything checks out and we have that certain edge (either number of points or percentage off a ML) we make the bet. That was a very simple overview of what we do haha. Some weeks we might not have a 3 unit play, while others we could have 10. It's all about the numbers for us.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

What excited us the most about Dub Club was the fact everyone gets our plays in real time. That way everyone can get the same lines we are. We love to bet early lines the night before and those can move fast. Subscribers also don't have to worry about missing a tweet. We have had such positive feedback so far and glad to be a part of the Dub Club team!

Tell us the Hammeritbets origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did Hammeritbets the Twitter capper come to life?

In May 2020 during the pandemic, we were bored and were tired of losing bets. So we took time to develop models for soccer and did some research on how to do this. The main test came on Asian soccer leagues that were running at the time (shoutout to the K-League) and applied this to the bigger European soccer leagues. We started to do well and decided to share plays on Twitter and expand from there

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping career?

The bookies know what they are doing. Going into any given match, game or event, they are extraordinarily sharp. You have to do anything you can to get an edge. It is not enough to think you like a team for a reason, you need data to back it up. One thing specifically in relation to this broad topic, is people who bet using trends as their reasoning. Each game is an independent outcome of the previous. If there's a trend out there, the bookie would likely already know about it.

A big piece of your secret sauce as a capper is advanced statistical models that help you identify where you can find closing line value. Is there any human discretion or qualitative evaluation you do as well when evaluating a potential play? Or are you all about sticking to the model?

Our model fails to incorporate some major things like injury or weather which is often difficult to quantify. If we know there is an injury at a key position, or a snowy day in a football game that is outdoors, we like to stay away because of the uncontrollable variables. These things can be difficult to account for, like how much a line might move because of wind, rain, snow, etc. Aside from this, we pretty much stick to the model, even if it's against our teams. The model has no bias, which is proven to be the best way to bet.

How have your closing line value models changed over time? In both level of accuracy / precision and the inputs that drive the model?

I think it's important to stay up to date with the most readily available data. When we first started, we started with just expected goals, but over time and with research we have included other things we believe are more important to driving wins. Accuracy has varied over time, mainly because you need time to test the changes you make as a weekend or even a month is likely not enough time to get a full dataset to evaluate. However, if you are getting a large number of plays, it is often a red flag because it's doubtful you are more accurate than the bookie that much, so you need to evaluate when you may be wrong proactively.

It's so impressive to see a stats-oriented capper like yourself excel across sports. How “durable” are your models across sports? Or do you have to start from scratch when it comes to modelling each sport?

We start from scratch from each sport. There are different factors to consider for football, soccer, hockey and basketball because of how unique each sport is so different things drive wins and there is differing data available to consider. Luckily we have made our models rather automated so it does not require excessive amounts of time on a daily basis to manage all of these sports and leagues.

You are one of the most transparent cappers I've seen in terms of sharing projection sheets with your subscribers. Why is this the right approach?

Regarding transparency, there's a lot of issues with transparency and honesty in this industry, so this gives insight and value to the user to see how we are doing things and not pulling plays out of thin air. People like to see the process and know how things work, or at least see the result of the work, which builds a degree of trust. Regarding the projection sheets, even when we don't have a play, telling someone why we don't have a play is just as useful information. It is a nice and organized visual to have when preparing for game days. For example, if you are in a weekly NFL pool, this projection sheet can be very helpful when you are not making a specific play, but need to still make a decision on the game. Lets face it, people like action and we can provide information on where the edge might be in terms of leans.

What got you excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

DubClub is amazing. We got excited about it in development because it is automated and reliable from a payment structure and the whole backend work. It has really changed the way we can communicate with our users as the plays are sent to their phone in real time, not having to worry about constantly checking a page or scrolling around trying to find old plays. Everything is efficient and convenient for both the handicapper and user.

What is the most important thing in gambling for long term success?

The most important thing from a sustainability standpoint would be two things actually: bankroll management and closing line value. Never bet more than you can afford to lose, because nobody should be losing absurd amounts of money gambling as it is meant to be fun in the end. Closing line value truly is more important than short term wins as the closing odds are the “true odds” for the outcome of the event. Simply put, if people say there is “value”, this term can be quantified by having better odds then when the match closes. It is simply not enough to just “think” there is value. In the end, getting a better price than the market is essentially the name of the game like in the stock market, deals on black friday, etc. fueling concept of buying low and selling high.

Tell us the UnitBetting origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your plays with the community?

I'd been helping out my friends win money for 5-10 years when one recommended I start sharing my algorithm with the world. I'm not here to take money from the people, rather help them take money from their bookies and Vegas.

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

My greatest learning experience to date is to never chase your losses. When I was new to the world, I trusted my model too much and found myself in tough situations. Now, I know better and have seen unprecedented growth since I started capping and stopped chasing.

You've got a very unique bankroll management strategy. Huge unit volumes are a regular occurrence in your feed. How do you prohibit yourself from spreading yourself too thin on a losing day? Is there a point where you're willing to cut your losses and get ready for the next day?

Bankroll management is a crucial part of capping and following a capper. My unit scale is unique based off the win percentage my program designates to a play. 1U plays have a 55-64% chance or hitting 3U plays 64-74% chance. 4U are 74-82.5% chance. 5U or MAX PLAYS are 82.5-93% chance of hitting. Anything over 93% receives a SUPER MAX PLAY. Of our last 24 super max plays are 18-3-2 hitting over 85.5%.

Tell us more about your Best Play of the Day thought process. What makes a certain play your favorite each day? Is there more analysis that goes into this decision or more of an impulse decision?

Every day there is one play that stands out to my model that shows the highest percent chance of a hit. Often showing an 85+% chance of hitting, those plays are the best plays of the day.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

The concept of real time text messages to my subscribers was extremely appealing because they get them the second I find my plays. There's no chance they miss the twitter notification, they get the play sent right to their texts.

Tell us the RightBetSports origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your plays with the community?

I had been successfully helping friends cash tickets for over a decade and I love the feeling of helping others make it in this industry. I watched a lot of experts assist others make money in Stocks & Crypto and I felt I could do the same for handicapping.

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

It has to be money management. You will never hit every bet and there is no such thing as a sure thing worth going All-In on. Proper unit management paired with a proven strategy is the only way to win long term and that will always be our guiding principle at RightBet Sports.

You're a capper who works a ton of different sports. How do you stay sharp with multiple sports and leagues running simultaneously?

I used to consume an unhealthy amount of sports & sports related content on a daily basis. This helped me feel like I was staying on top of everything. Recognizing that this can lead to burnout and is not a sustainable long term business model I took on a business partner earlier this year to help with business development. We've also successfully recruited some talented cappers with proven track records. These cappers have been contributing their expertise to the daily card and are also generating additional content for our subscribers in our discord.

Talk to us about your unit management system. You have a truly diversified distribution of 1-5 unit plays pretty much every night of the week. How did you develop this system and what goes into assigning a unit value to each play?

Anyone drawn to sports betting is a risk taker at heart and this is necessary. However, the best cappers long term are also really strong risk managers. We see a lot of cappers risking 30+ Units per day. If 1 unit equals 1% of total bankroll this sort of risk can wipe a bettor's account out with just a couple bad days in a row. Our unit management model allows us to convey to clients when we feel it's appropriate to take a larger stake & when it's best to keep the risk light.

What's next for RightBetSports? Any future plans on growing your subscriber base and/or platform?

We launched a Discord server back in February that has been successful. The community is welcoming of newcomers and always willing to assist anyone with questions related to sports betting. I love jumping into the server while the games are live and rooting on our picks. It feels similar to gathering around the TV to catch the game with your best friends. In a world where that is not as easily done logistically this has provided us with the next best option. Our clients also love to discuss their own plays with the community and get live advice.

Tell us the FarleyBets origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into Gambling Twitter and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

I started handicapping over 10 years ago, when I was living in Philly and searching for new business ideas to pursue. I started a website that was geared mostly towards fantasy, but it fell through and I just continued grinding and learning on my own.

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping career?

Watch out for confirmation bias and never get too cocky - this is a really tough gig and betting is hard. Expect losses, and work hard for long-term winning.

In an industry full of enormous personalities and larger than life proclamations, you do an amazing job of remaining authentic and grounded. Why has this been the right approach for you? And how does this create unique value for your subscribers?

The betting world is really over-saturated. I learned from the best: Adam Burke, Kyle Hunter, Kiev O'Neil, Brad Powers, and others. Staying grounded and grateful is so important in this industry because it never gets easier and “cappers” are a dime a dozen these days. You have to separate yourself with something unique in your approach.

You're on absolute fire in the NBA right now. Given all the COVID issues and injuries in the Association right now, how are you remaining disciplined and finding such great success?

The biggest thing is looking for situations or spots that suggest one team may be more motivated than the other. The NBA is a player-driven, emotional sport. Understanding the players and their behavioral tendencies is the key to long-term success.

In addition to the great work you do on DubClub, you're also a very active voice in the world of bettor education and betting best practices. What's most rewarding about that side of your handicapping persona?

I genuinely want people to learn more about sports betting. The idea is not to have them hang by my wins for the rest of their lives- the point is to teach them how I approach handicapping so that THEY can have long-term success for them and their families. It's very gratifying to be able to help others do that, even more than winning myself.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

I really like the layout and delivery of the picks. Sending picks directly to customers' phones is a really good idea - let's make it easier for everyone! DubClub is very fluid in that sense.

Tell us the WiseGuyCapital origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your plays with the community?

The WiseGuyCapital team met in college while enrolled in Engineering undergrad. Both of us shared a passion for sports, analytics, and gambling. We decided to jump on Twitter 8 years later in 2018 in hopes of sharing our specific knowledge that was built over time.

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

Every learning experience is extremely valuable so it's hard to pinpoint just one. Setting your gambling bankroll aside from your regular money used to pay bills, mortgage, groceries, etc is a must. I think this helps take away some negative emotions that come along with losing. It's extremely difficult to win. If you are able to manage your emotions and limit chasing you will be more successful than the person sitting next to you. Also, it's important to remember you don't need to gamble every single day. One of the major advantages you have over the book is that you can pick and choose your spots. You are not obligated to meet a certain minimum number of bets placed per day/week.

Talk to us about your thought process when it comes to your daily card. Are your plays model-based with analysis or based more on intuition and feel?

Varies sport to sport. For baseball I would say 80% model & 20% intuition. We see what our model spits out and make some adjustments if we feel the model isn't accounting for something.

Sending out 5+ plays per day and managing a consistent, positive bankroll is a difficult task day in and day out. How do you manage not to overextend yourself and remain disciplined through the ups and downs of the sports cycle?

When you build out a solid model, it really prevents self destruction as long as you're keeping your units consistent. With a few years of positive data it is easier to just have faith in it through the ups and downs knowing at the end of the year we will see profit.

Your bankroll building challenges are epic to follow along with. Talk our readers through those challenges and how they keep your followers engaged.

These challenges are a ton of fun and very stressful. The $100 to $1000 challenge is not how you are supposed to manage a bankroll; however it provides a lot of entertainment at a relatively low entry cost. We have gotten so close to accomplishing it (Got up to $700+) but have fallen short 3 times now. Regardless, it is a fun way to connect with the community. We might tweak it slightly to pull the original $100 out at some point so it becomes a free roll! Look forward to giving it another go soon.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

I think the ability to text the plays directly to clients has been a game changer. It allows clients fast easy access to the picks so they can get the plays locked in at good prices. DubClub has helped connect us with clients who will be with us for a lifetime!

Tell us the Point Spread God origin story. How did you transform yourself from college athlete to expert handicapper to the Point Spread God we all know and love?

My Junior year of college I remember it to this day. The Summer before my Junior Collegiate Rugby season at Iowa State University I played in a Summer Rugby League to prep for the season. Basically a pre-season to get warmed up and in gear. I returned a kick from the 5 yard line and broke a couple tackles and I was on my way to scoring when I saw the last tackler try to blind side me so I stiff armed him. Well l I managed to stiff arm him and score but the consequences of that stiff arm were career ending. When I stiff armed him, I did it so hard that I tore my shoulder labrum. I can still remember the pop I heard as I sit here typing this up. At the moment I thought it was just a shoulder bruise, no big deal. The pain became so gruesome that I went and got an MRI (4 months later..lol) and found out I tore my shoulder labrum in 3 spots. I skipped surgery to this day and tried to play around it but you can't really tackle that well when your shoulder has the chance of popping out of place if you don't time the tackle right. So at that point I knew it was time to put the cleats down and focus on something else. I wanted to stay within the sports industry. I just didn't know what I wanted to do at that point. I always gambled here and there on sports throughout college but with all the free time I now had, I studied the market, figured out what worked and did not work and using my competitive skill trait I put in the hours of work and long before you know it Point Spread God emerged.

What is your greatest learning experience from your handicapping journey?

My greatest learning would have to be to keep your friends close but your enemies closer. This is a very competitive environment where people's feelings get involved way too often. You gotta maintain the Alpha mentality or you will get eaten up as simple as that. Know your worth and know what you bring to the table. At the end of the day, no one can take that away from you.

You are known for your straight plays and also cashing monster parlays. What advice do you have for those who tend to shy away from parlays? When do parlays make sense vs. straight bets? When does it make sense to hedge?

At the end of the day you're betting to win so why not take the chance and make some money out of it instead of breaking even then losing it eventually. Parlays are every handicappers' enemy. They'll tell you to stay away and you'll never win. Listen I'm not naive and I get where they are coming from of course you have a better chance of losing a 2-4 team parlay rather than a single bet - that's a no brainer. But what they don't understand is that I'm the best ever at this handicapping stuff. Parlays are where the money is at and it's as simple as that. You have to have the balls to go big when you know 2-4 of those teams are a lock. Once you get to that point where you can place $1,000 comfortably on a parlay like that and it hits your life will forever be changed. I'm not the one to unit shame by any means but you have to be willing to risk big to win big otherwise you'll always be in a spiraling circle of breaking even or losing. Parlays are a true masterpiece in the betting world and I am the Picasso of this generation. There is only one Point Spread God out there, never forget that.

In addition to having one of the well-known and well-respected cappers on Twitter, you also have some of the cleanest branding I've come across. How did you come up with the notorious PSG hands of prayer?

I haven't been asked this question in a long time and I am thankful you did. One of my College buddies was a graphic design student so I shot him a message one day. I told him I had this vision with my twitter account Point Spread God and was wondering if you could throw something together for it. I'll pay you $100 just to do your best job and get creative with it. One week later the vision came to life. Feel free to follow him on instagram over at (hunt_csm). He is a great guy.

You've built a tremendous team and the PSG squad has been a multifaceted group with specialization across sports, data expertise and media presence. How has being the Godfather of the PSG Family made you a better handicapper? And what's next for the squad?

It has made me a better handicapper by seeing how the other guys are taking the work seriously. Nothing is more motivating than seeing someone else see the same vision and continue to carry it out day in and day out.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

Before DubClub we would send plays to PSGAlt then he would send the plays into the Patreon platform or if I wanted to access the Patreon platform I would get logged out and it was a huge mess. I like DubClub because it is a lot easier to navigate and the best part is these plays are sent out via email or text so it eliminates every barrier we face in getting these plays out. No extra app to log into, just a simple sign up and boom you get plays sent to your phone or email. If you don't like the plays you can cancel at any given time. It is a big step in the handicapping game and I am excited for my guys to take over.

Tell us the CKPicks origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your picks with the community?

To begin, it all really started with betting on sports in a basement with some buddies, as I'm sure a lot of people have a very similar origin story. Being in college at the time, there wasn't much to life other than going to class, going out and betting on sports. One day during March Madness in 2018 I decided to start throwing some picks out and after a strong tournament and some success my following grew a ton. As a typical college kid does, I lost interest and did not stick with it and essentially picked it back up in 2020 after graduating. Now I enjoy it a lot more and love the community that's been built and look forward to continuing to share picks.

What has been your greatest learning experience from a career in handicapping? And your strongest learning moment?

The greatest thing I've learned in this game is to never get too high and never get too low. In the beginning it is so easy to get eaten up and frustrated by poor results but truth be told, you cannot change anything that is happening in any given sport or bet after you click submit. I learned to trust my process and after it's out of my hands, don't get overly worked up with the result as it can seriously affect your mental health. Directly relating to this, my strongest learning moment came from a certain NFL card a few years ago where I felt as though the research done was impeccable and I was heading towards a perfect 5-0 card. Guess what? 0-5 and many units were lost. This taught me that regardless of outcomes you have to trust yourself and stick to your process and in the long run you will be profitable.

How much does quantitative research factor into your decision-making process vs. the instincts you've honed over many years of handicapping?

As the years have gone by, I have gone from firing based upon instincts to a more quantitative research base. Back in the day before truly getting involved in the market myself, almost all of my bets were instinct based and sometimes I still believe that is the way to go as it can make it more fun. Don't get me wrong, I definitely still have instincts involved in a good amount of picks as I do trust my brain more than I trust some numbers but in the end, not using a quantitative research approach will lead to a much lower success rate when looking at the big picture.

You've been on a great roll on the hardwood, in both CBB and NBA plays. How do you approach pro hoops differently than college? What's the secret to finding success in both?

The craziest part about betting both the NBA and CBB is that almost nothing is similar. From a betting perspective, it's almost better to look at the two as if they are not only two different levels of competition, but two completely different sports. When focusing on pro hoops, you can trust the numbers a lot more whereas college can see a ton of variance on any given night. Although I am not going to sit here and say NBA betting is easier, I will say it is more consistent when referencing results and trends. The secret to finding success in both is to balance them. That may sound easy to do but when they are both full go during the same time of year it is hard to handicap the amount of games they both present. A trick I have been able to use for example is to focus on a busy Wednesday NBA slate by handicapping that and having the majority of my picks in the NBA for that day while maybe on a busy CBB Saturday you focus on CBB only and can go into CBB research mode.

You also sprinkle in a healthy dose of player props - what advice do you have for bettors who may not be comfortable or familiar with props? And how can these act as a “double down”, or a hedge, for a given side or total you like?

Player props have become one of the better things that have happened to the sports gambling community in recent years. To me, the player prop market is fun and at the end of the day, obviously we do focus primarily on profits, some people forget that betting on sports is supposed to be fun. For those who are new to player props, the advice I give is to use different tools available at your disposal. A lot of people will want to bet on their favorite players night in and night out but that is not the key to making money in the market. Use your instincts upon first glance and then take your instincts or what you think may happen and go do some deeper research on why you think that prop should happen using numbers to back up your initial instinct. It's funny actually and may sound simple but oftentimes when I like an over that is in the 230's, I always think to myself why am I not adding a player prop from these teams as there is bound to be a ton of stats on the statsheet. So what I do like to do is add a prop to a high over and it essentially gives me a few units on that given game as I believe a lot of points will be scored.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

What got me most excited about using DubClub was the opportunity to build a community of like minded individuals who are focused on winning and enjoying the process. DubClub gave me an opportunity to reach people I would not have reached before and the ability to grow something special really got me excited. DubClub has given me a direct connection with many subscribers and at the end of the day I want to be an asset to a subscriber, not just an automated message giving plays every day. I really want to build connections with not only other handicappers but also every single subscriber and at the end of the day, DubClub allows me to do just that.

Tell us the Sports Prophet origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did Prophet the Twitter capper come to life?

I started betting on sports for fun in high school. At that point I had a good understanding of a few limited sports, mostly football and college hoops. It wasn't until in college that I started to closely follow other sports/leagues and started to learn about sports betting from a handicapping and investing perspective. By my sophomore year in college I was handicapping and betting full time. Several years later I discovered the niche community that is “gambling twitter”. Initially I started posting plays as a hobby when Covid first happened & it has since grown from there.

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping career?

Far and away the most important thing I've learned as a professional handicapper is how to read the sports betting market. Teams, matchups, analytics, and information in general is all important. But if you don't understand how and why the market has a certain team favored you're at the very least missing out on huge market return opportunities.

You are clearly a capper who is pouring a ton of research into every play - often days ahead of kickoff. Using college football as an example, what does a week's workflow look like for you? From early research and prep through and play selection, tracking and recapping.

College football is my favorite league far and away. A typical work week starts on Sunday and early Monday morning when odds are released. I like to take my initial look without stats or results and basically just jot down any spots that jump off the page at me at first glance. I'll sleep on it for a day and then take a deeper dive the next day or two. By Wednesday I generally have my official plays locked in and ready to go, unless I'm fading steam on a particular spot and feel the need to wait for a better line later in the week.

Your Twitter bio lists you as a college football sharp, but you have proven to be a super high performing capper across a variety of sports beyond college football: Soccer, CBB, NBA, etc. How have you approached finding value in “new” leagues? And what sub-niches within leagues have been profitable for you?

The first thing when finding a new league to invest in has to be understanding of said league. I've added USL (United Soccer League, USA tier 2 professional league) in the last year and a half. I did nothing but watch the league and follow the results for a full season before officially adding it to my portfolio. Every league has its quirks and the same thing for different teams in said league.

I'm always impressed by the speed and comprehensiveness of your daily recaps. Why is it important to communicate performance with your subscribers in a very transparent and timely manner?

The most important thing to communicate is confidence and composure, in both great days and bad days. The next thing is to actually communicate on a consistent basis how vital proper bankroll management is when you're trying to professionally bet and make consistent long term returns. Most people don't make money betting on sports, it's true that that's partially because it's hard to beat Vegas straight up. But far and away the biggest reason is that people don't stick to the plan. If I can communicate that to my clients, they'll be happier long term and I'll probably retain more of them as well, due to the increased probability of success for everyone involved.

What got you excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

Originally what convinced me was the convenience and simplicity. DubClub handles literally everything that has to do with clients subscriptions/renewals and anything billing related. That makes my life exponentially easier and provides more time for me to focus on finding winners for my clients.

I've always been a sports enthusiast growing up. It wasn't until college when I got introduced to the sports gambling world. I always enjoyed the “quick” money. Lots of ups and downs, but I knew there was a way to make money and I was going to figure it out. Took me a few years to figure out the Vegas algorithm and systems. Once I was fully confident in my systems, I started my own capping Twitter, slamthebookie. Grew my followers organically over time and gained A LOT of respect in this community. It's not always how you start, it's how you finish!

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

This is a long term grind. If you want to make money in this industry, you have to be serious and disciplined. Learning how to BALANCE is the key. Balance out life and sports. You DON'T have to bet every day or every game.

In addition to being a tremendous handicapper, you have an incredible content creation skill set. How does your content acumen make the capping game even more fun?

The main goal is making people money. This is sports “entertainment” so I love creating and providing content so people can enjoy and laugh.

You have some of the most creative promos in the game. Where did you hone your marketing acumen?

I've been an entrepreneur since college. I started an artist booking business where I learned that content is really everything. If you have good content, you will bring engagement then will lead to sales.

Tell us the FootyChancellor origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your plays with the community?

It actually all happened by accident really and was not planned. I was following some cappers just like everyone else and got to know a few of them. A couple got to know me and learned I was really into the sport and my background from being from Germany. I was offered to sell my picks to a few cappers and once I gained a following, I went off on my own.

What's your greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

Do not chase after a losing day. Being now located in the States, it is a blessing and curse to have soccer being played in the morning/afternoon almost everyday. Bad days happen to everyone so even if it's a 7-8 unit loss day, I do not go chasing other sports to try and recover. It took me a long time to learn that it's about +/- at the end of the week over the end of the day.

You're obviously known for your elite soccer plays, but in the last week you've also had success with some Tennis and MLB plays as well. Have you ever considered spreading your wealth of knowledge to capping any other sports consistently?

Soccer is a sport that I love and grew up on in Germany. I could honestly sit down and watch any two squads play and enjoy the match. I dedicate my page to capping majority soccer because it is something I am passionate about. I am a fan of tennis and MLB but that does not translate into being a successful capper in that sport. I do not ever want to be the guy that puts plays out for the sake of having plays. Nothing wrong with sitting out a day.

Tell us more about your thought process going into a card on any given day. In your opinion, what makes a play worth adding to your slate? How much of your decision-making process is statistics-based vs. intuition?

There are 211 leagues in FIFA located around the world. Many of them have squads that will run away with their league and it's important to identify them early for maximum profit. There is a lot more to the soccer world than just Man City and Liverpool. I am really big into making an early card the night before and again on match day. The early card strategy is for when you are expecting a big swing in the lines. For example a -250 nice parlay piece might swing to -450 before the match because of a public grab. Stats and match history are the most important thing in soccer. One goal is the most important scoring event in any sport because of the draw factor.

In the betting community, bankroll management is of the utmost importance when it comes to making profits. How do you continue to find 7+ compelling plays per day that have real value without spreading yourself too thin?

Do not be afraid to parlay 2 plays together to get something around even money. I realize that this move is not for everyone but a great bankroll builder for soccer only players. I am a big fan of this strategy especially when you identify a match you want to go big on that might be a day or two away. You can turn your 2U bet into a 5-6U big play by hitting some simple parlays.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

I love the time it gives back to me during the day. If you ask any capper, it's always the admin part of the gig that everyone hates the most. DubClub is a game changer that has brought cappers and patrons together in one place. I love being able to answer questions directly from subscribers.

Tell us the Above Average Prop Guy origin story. How did you transition from college athlete throwing strikes to Twitter capper picking winners?

I got into sports gambling and handicapping a couple years after college. PointSpreadGod had gotten in contact with me a year before, when PSG was still a one man band, telling me to start studying lines and games just to be ready. Once 2020 came around he wanted to bring me on as the “Prop Guy” for the brand. Couple years later and 22k followers here we are with the brand being bigger than ever.

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping journey?

Be disciplined, stick to your units, and DO NOT chase losses.

How has your athletic career informed your capping approach?

In high school, I was a 3 sport athlete and then transitioned into collegiate baseball. That history with sports is crucial to the knowledge I have now of baseball, basketball, and football. Being around sports my whole life means following professional teams closer than I would without a sports career so it has helped with just giving me a solid base of understanding for all of those sports.

You're an extremely high volume capper. 7+ plays day in and day out across leagues and sports. How do you work through a given day's slate and isolate for value? And how do you maintain your stamina with such a grueling approach?

It can be tough. Some days I will pump out 15 plays, some days I will only give out 5-7 plays. I generally have the teams and players that I will look for my angles on and try to stay in those lanes. For example, with NBA props Tyrese Haliburton is one of my go to prop players. I know his tendencies, how he performs against certain guys and all that. Things like that come in handy when I do get tired of going through every single game and play on the slate.

It's no secret that you love player props. Soccer and hoops are prime prop sports for you. Are those your favorite sports to play props? And what advice do you have for bettors who aren't as familiar with props?

NFL and MLB player props are my favorite. Specifically anytime TD scorer props and strikeout props in the MLB. If you are unfamiliar with player props my best advice is to research, research, and research some more. Figure out their tendencies, how they perform vs certain players and teams, even down to if they're better playing in the daytime or at night. One other big key for me is to find the players that win the most for you and keep targeting them. Variation is nice but if you have a player that makes you money there's no sense in going away from it.

You're a monster in NRFI plays. With college baseball and MLB (hopefully) just around the corner, how are you fine tuning your approach for NRFI action while soccer and hoops are still full speed ahead?

I love NRFI's. I don't really put a lot of focus on studying NRFI the first week of the season. The slates will be light and I will be targeting the pitchers and teams that I was familiar with last year and made me the most money. Now, don't think I will be going blind into it. I have an expansive knowledge of the game of baseball and still do my research beforehand but I wouldn't say I really put any extra effort into it until the day before. As for college baseball, this will be my first year capping it fully so things will start super light and build up if it's successful. Once baseball rolls around soccer and basketball plays will stop and we will be solely MLB on the account but until then soccer, NHL, basketball will roll on.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

The fact that DubClub sends out texts to subscribers is so nice. In a generation where everyone is on their phones it makes it super convenient. I actually had followers say they wouldn't sign up for VIP until we left Patreon to come to DubClub. It has made it much easier to communicate as well. We actually had issues with Patreon not allowing me access to the PSG VIP page so I had to rely on others to enter my own plays into my VIP section. So this is a much better situation with me being able to submit my own plays and be able to send out my own messages.

Tell us the Luciano Bets origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into Twitter and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

Honestly, I think I was following a bunch of cappers on Twitter and thought to myself, “well, I can give this a try too.” I had already been a serious gambler for a few years, but had never posted outside of group chats with friends. I started my account in 2019… it didn't really get any traction until summer 2021. I got into the broader handicapper ecosystem through following cappers I respect and interacting with them. I, also, have been lucky enough to somehow have been found by some employees at Barstool Sports who shouted me out on Twitter. Not really sure how that happened? I was never a follower of Barstool until this account and some of their employees' massive accounts have helped me grow.

What is the greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

Patience, discipline, and belief in the process. I've been every phase of a gambler. I tried to find the hot capper and if one week went bad I'd go onto the next. I'd find people on Reddit. You name it, I've done it. Guess what? They all failed. Why? Not because I picked bad cappers, but because of lack of patience. If I had stayed with them throughout a year or two, I would've seen profit. Instead, I jumped ship early because of one losing week. A perfect example of patience for me has been my NBA season this year. I was up 8 units to start then down in the dumps, -13 or so units on the season in early January. I kept my belief in the process though and discipline with my bankroll. Since the bottom of -13 units, I've crawled my way back to +6 units or so on the year. This came through patience, discipline, and belief in my process.

Your DubClub subscribers know and love you for your extremely methodical approach to NBA plays. Subscribers can set their watch to your NBA card coming out at a similar time every day and with consistent, outstanding results. Talk us through your daily process. How have you turned this into such a science?

I created my first NBA model in 2015 I think? It was incredibly simple and team based. Fast forward 7 years (wild to think about) and now I have a player based model that I run multiple times throughout the day depending on injury news. What sets it apart? I believe I have one of the best player rating systems in the market that allows the model to expose inefficiencies. This model has seen over 900 plays and has a profit of 65+ units. A lot of what I do I like to keep secret. To anyone who is looking to start “modeling” I would say go for it. There is this weird belief that people have that you have to have a 200 IQ to run a sports model that gives you an edge. I can guarantee you that I am not close to 200 IQ!

You are an extremely transparent and data-oriented capper. How does that help you build trust with your subscribers? And how does it improve your own accountability and process?

I believe that the person who wins in this handicapping business is the one that is honest. That's why I track all my plays via third party service providers like BetStamp and BetMMA. This business has a lot of scam artists in it (every business does), but I have a belief in people that they can sniff out a scam pretty quickly. Sure the 10000 UNIT PLAY OF THE YEAR, DM ME FOR INFO capper may get more subscribers over a day, month, or even year, but over the long haul? I believe the honest, profitable capper wins.

January has been a breakthrough month for you in the Association. What is it about this time of year that's making things click even more clearly?

Eh, probably just randomness? Last year I had a breakout in March and then again in May. I don't think the model necessarily does better depending on the time of year.

The MLB Season is just around the corner. That's a huge league for you. Do you put in a lot of research during pre-season to try to jump on value early on? Or is your research mostly focused on once Opening Day comes to pass?

I have a few things to change in my model in the upcoming months. I want to improve on a few things that I felt went awry last season, specifically at the end. I have a few theories that I am going to look into. Making massive adjustments to your model in the middle of a season is almost impossible, and shows a bad process in most instances, so most of the work comes in the pre-season for sure.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your subscribers?

The text aspect is huge. I just know back in the day when I was tailing cappers, I'd sometimes miss tweets. I almost never miss a text. That's the biggest thing for me.

Tell us Uncle Fitz's origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into the Twitter ecosystem and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

Long story short because who really has the time? I had some money in my pocket heading into college. Dorm life sucked and we wanted to party. I played football which allowed absolutely zero time for a job but we wanted to do awesome things. We gambled. We would gamble all week in order to pay for what we wanted to do on the weekends. Fast forward to 3 years ago when I decided to take a step back from my coaching career to stay home with all of my kids. Stay at home dads have a lot of time to handicap sporting events. Work from home jobs sucked, side hustles were boring so I started sports betting again. I joined twitter just to track my bets. At the time I had no idea Sports Betting Twitter even existed. After posting my picks for free for a while I had guys DM me asking how much I charge for my picks. I decided to start accepting tips and let everyone pay whatever they wanted to pay because every bettor is different with different bankrolls. I wanted to help as many people as possible. I've developed some great relationships with other guys in the community and promoted positivity and transparency. By doing that (and crushing parlays) I was able to gain a solid following and clientele that has completely filled the void left from my previous job. This is a full time gig for me. I'll continue to grow and get better until every household in America is hitting parlays with da boys.

What is the greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

Bankroll management. Don't bet what you don't have and dont chase trying to fix a shitty day. We have peaks and valleys and ebbs and flows in betting. The key is trying to throw a little more when you're hot, and dial it back when you're not. Something I'm still learning how to do.

You are the master of parlays. While many cappers shy away from these bet types, you have been extremely successful in the world of parlays. What is it about your strategy that makes parlay betting so profitable, while most find them to be money pits?

When it comes to parlays you just have to stay disciplined. I've developed a parlay formula that uses stats, trends and information to find sides and totals. The formula also identifies number discrepancies between ATS and ML while comparing prices at different sports books. The only thing left is the eye test. Only dorks base their decisions on numbers alone. What I do and how I do it works for me and mine and it's really just a numbers game. I usually do 4 team parlays and try to get the odds to be +1200 or better. Normally I'll send 2 of those out a day, some days we have 3 parlays if the slate is huge and we've even had some 4 parlay days too. I try to stick to 2 during the week and maybe 3 on the weekends. Math tells us you should hit 1 every 12 days since the odds are 12/1. My formula is better than that and our goal is at least 6 parlays a month. If you do 16ish parlays a week, that's roughly 64ish parlays a month. Even if you count the days where we do 4 and we stay disciplined all we need to do is hit 6 and we'll be profitable that month.

Do you recommend your followers double up your parlay plays with the “straight up” components of the bet? I.e. should they be betting each individual leg of the parlay in addition to the parlay itself?

How I try and set up my card is for our straight picks to pay for our parlays. For example if I send out 2 parlays I'll usually accompany that with 6-8 straight picks or 6 picks and hopefully one 2 unit play. If the 2u play hits you already get your money back from the 2 1u parlays. Now we just have to sit back and hope we get 3 more winners on the same parlay. If we miss our 2-3 parlays for -2 or -3u my goal is to have the straight picks profit the +2 or +3u so we break as close to even as possible. If our straight picks are profiting +2 or +3u there is a pretty good chance we hit a parlay too. So to answer the question directly, Yes.

What's your approach to hedging when you've got a few winners in the early legs of a parlay, and a few more who haven't yet tipped off?

I tell my guys ONLY to hedge if they need the money. The cool thing about my cards is I fix that problem for you by combining parlays with the time slots so you really only have a chance to hedge if we have a parlay that has bets covering different time slots throughout the day.

You are one of the most positive, genuine guys I see on the internet. And it's no secret that the sports betting world is full of trolls and negativity. How do you maintain a bright outlook and such a great attitude day in and day out?

Well thank you! Real recognize real. That was honestly one of my goals early on was to try and separate myself from the rest of these guys and the best way to do that was to be positive. I'm a big energy guy. I believe positivity breeds positivity and it can be one of the most contagious feelings in the world. Those are the only kind of vibes I want to have out there. I pity trolls. I'll usually “one and done” them with a walk off comment, GIF, or clip and slide. I'd rather spend that time and energy on my awesome family or by breaking down plays ferda boys!

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

I don't usually go for things like this but you guys made the transition extremely comfortable for me. I'm all about comfort, a lot of the reason why I let my guys pay whatever they want. Betting is supposed to be fun. No one has fun paying a guy something they're uncomfortable paying and hoping the picks he gave out are profitable. I have A LOT of guys who have smaller bankrolls and are looking for ways to build. I also have a lot of guys who have bigger bankrolls that allow me to keep my pricing the way it is. The beautiful thing about DubClub is it cuts my annoying task time in half because I only have to copy and paste my picks in the DMs to my guys who still prefer the Twitter option. The most exciting thing about DubClub is the cats behind the scenes are constantly trying to make the community better ferda bettor. These guys will be a major name in sports betting here in the near future. I'd put 3u on that, and parlay it with 3 other picks at +1200 or better, respectively.

Tell us the Big Bets Brand origin story. What inspired you to begin sharing your picks with the community? When did you realize handicapping could be a money-making opportunity for yourself?

Well, I really just love sports! I can't get enough of ‘em. I wanted to share my picks because I knew that it would be fun to help others win money. Then a month or so ago I was like damn I have all these people asking me if I have a VIP, my original intention was to always just do free picks. When people started really supporting my account I started to realize I could really make some money from this!

What is your greatest learning experience from your handicapping journey?

My greatest learning experience is that nothing is a LOCK lol! For real though, I think the best thing I've learned from handicapping is that people are going to be upset if you don't win, but as long as you keep on giving out quality picks and don't let trolls get in your head you are at a great advantage. Stay composed and kill ‘em with kindness!

Since the start of 2022, it seems like you can't miss, whether it be free picks or VIP. How would you describe the heater you've been on lately?

Man, honestly its just another day in the office lol. Got a few close friends to credit for some big plays we talked about together lately.

How do you continue to stay locked in with the long, tiring seasons of CBB, NBA, and MLB?

Basketball doesn't even feel like a long tiring season to me, I love basketball season - not too long, not too short. Baseball on the other hand is definitely long as hell, might not be this year though :( I am a retired baseball player, the game is my first love, and like I said earlier: I just can't get enough of it!

With the train rolling on your new VIP service this year, what's next for Big Bets Brand? How do you plan to keep a growing customer base satisfied in this ever-changing market?

I'd love to expand in any way, but not going to force anything. I'll probably wait for an opportunity to present itself for now. A couple homies and I have talked about doing twitter spaces, maybe we'll get the ball rolling on that soon! Only way to keep customer base satisfied is with consistent winners!

Tell us the Caribbean Capper origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did CC the Twitter capper come to life?

As an avid sports fan, I've naturally gained a love and a knowledge for all teams in all sports. The idea of being able to turn that knowledge into money was an opportunity too powerful to turn down, so I started betting on sports about 5 years ago. About 2 years ago, I thought I had the brilliant new idea of sharing my picks on twitter to help other people be successful sports bettors. As it turns out, there was already a community of thousands of cappers doing this exact same thing, and they welcomed me into the community very quickly. I quickly found that there was much more satisfaction in helping others make money than there was in making money myself. Obviously both are amazing, but something about seeing the winning bet slips of loyal followers was addicting to me. Two years later I'm still posting picks every single day, and the joy I feel when I'm able to help someone cash a bet is exactly the same.

What is your greatest learning from your handicapping career?

Bankroll management is key. You're probably rolling your eyes reading this, but it's the truth. If you want to be a long-term profitable sports bettor, you need to be disciplined. Set a unit size for your bets and stick with it. For me personally, one unit is equal to 2% of my bankroll. So even when I have a 5U max play, it's just 10% of my bankroll. Far too many people see “max play” and instantly throw 50% or more of their bankroll on a single play. That is the fastest way to go broke in this profession. We can all profit long-term with disciplined bankroll management!

You're a capper who plays a ton of different leagues and sports. I assume this is a crazy time of year for you with hoops, football, soccer all in full swing. How do you go about working through your card in this “peak season”?

“Peak season” to me just means a better chance of finding consistent winners! When sports are in a dead period, it sometimes feels like you get one or two games a day and you have to pick a spot within those games. At this time of year, you have dozens, even hundreds of games going each day. This makes it far easier to be able to scan through and pick only spots that I truly love. Clients will notice a pretty drastic increase in max plays around this time of year, going all the way through the end of March Madness, and they're hitting around 80% right now!

Your MAX plays are pretty much legendary at this point. You're hitting at 80%+ historically. Give us a bit of a peek into what makes the alarms go off when you're evaluating slapping the “MAX” distinction on a given play?

Secret sauce. You can taste it all you want, but I can't give out the recipe:)

You do an amazing job of engaging with your subscribers. Whether it's unique promos or giveaways, you are always finding new and exciting ways to reach your followers. How have you honed your follower engagement instincts over time? And what should potential subscribers expect from your DubClub feed?

Many years back, I ran a Madden Mobile page on instagram. I sold in-game currency, traded cards, and hosted giveaways. Doing this at a young age gave me a ton of experience with how to form strong relationships with followers. I love running giveaways on my page to give back to everyone who helps and supports me. Even a simple like or retweet in this community can go a long way. That's what this community is about to me. You help me, I help you, you help the next guy in line. We're all in this for the same reason.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

DubClub is the exact service I've dreamed of having access to since the day I started doing this. Twitter is great for gaining exposure and being a part of a niche community, but absolutely not the best platform to run a VIP page on. There is too much clutter on twitter and picks will often get lost in the mess. On the cappers side of it, it's nearly impossible to manage a VIP group manually on twitter. Tell us the BDSportings origin story. When did you get into handicapping and how did you find your way into Gambling Twitter and the broader handicapper ecosystem?

Growing up I always enjoyed making wagers amongst friends and family so by the time I was 21, it just felt meant to be. About 8 years ago I was making weekly trips to Nevada to focus my energy and time on sports betting. I did that for almost 2 years and with those experiences came great times as well as truly frustrating memories. During that time frame, friends suggested I use my twitter more and begin giving out some plays. That blossomed into me helping people regularly and enjoying that process. Knowing my work was benefitting more than just myself simply made it worth it. So from organically growing my account daily I was able to build up a consistent clientele who wanted all my best plays each day.Through it all I'd say it molded me into the bettor I am today.

What is the greatest learning experience from your handicapping career?

Definitely would say chasing to a point where you just sit in your sorrows, many of us have been there. In those times you feel at your lowest is when greatness can also be brought out of you. Bouncing back is all part of the game, so taking those down days on the chin and focusing on your next opportunity to succeed is always something I greatly enjoy within it all.

You are a master of NBA player props. When did you start focusing on these plays? And walk me through the process of working through an NBA slate to identify player prop value. What are the indicators you're looking at?

I like to think my approach to props is much more in tune with how I view the game overall. I most definitely take into account recent numbers collectively but I also take pride in visualizing matchups and advantages I feel a player may have for that upcoming game. I grew up playing basketball heavily with opportunities to pursue a career overseas. Although that wasn't in my plans I almost feel like an NBA scout. Sometimes value may not always be obvious to just ride a trend, in other instances you can ride a player while books fall asleep at the wheel. During covid, finding advantages can come in many ways. I'm always looking to adjust how I go about things, because those opportunities for guys to shine who probably won't be around long can also mean them getting cooked by vets who've dominated for years.

You're also crushing it in CBB and NBA total + side bets. Do you think being an elite prop bettor helps you bet totals and sides? Or are they completely different problem sets?

With the way I go about my bets daily I would say it plays a role in my sides and totals yes. Some instances I can visualize more than just one guy going off and having a mismatch, which can open up thoughts of team total overs or just pure domination leading to easy covers. I like focusing more on totals more so due to the NBA being a game of runs and what used to be insurmountable leads can now be wiped away within minutes. Which leads me more towards keying in on recent trends for both teams coming in, sometimes a hot team is exactly that, a hot team. Whether a team duplicates that success through the season can be irrelevant, if some guys are on a roll, identifying those guys and simply focusing on props in those instances can pay off greatly.

With football season inching closer to its end and March Madness not too far away, what advice do you have for bettors who are starting to shift their focus from the gridiron to the hardwood?

Best advice I can give is to watch as many games as possible. I truly enjoy a variety of sports and love visually seeing why or why not my bet had the outcome it did. Some guys throw bets out there recklessly and just check in after, I can't trust my plays working like that. I have a lot more peace of mind seeing what went wrong and adjusting in the future. If an L today means a W tomorrow or next week, your supporters will appreciate that in the long run.

It seems like every time I look at your Twitter page, you are on an insane free play run. For folks who may be familiar with you only because of your Twitter free plays, what are they missing out on when it comes to your premium play feed?

After having 2 full years going positive for clients the objective stays the same. I want to win for those who pay me and those who don't. Sometimes clients enjoy great runs while free plays go stagnant but at the end of the day I'm looking for every way possible to win my supporters money. Free plays speak for themselves and when I'm able to produce for clients in significant ways such as the run to end 2021, all I'm gonna do is smile. Clients are happy and supporters who just wanna focus on free plays get to enjoy plenty of success as well.

What got you most excited about using DubClub and how has DubClub changed the way you communicate with your members?

I was most excited about the fact that in real time plays I'm giving out are immediately texted to my clients phones and they can instantly be made aware of them. In 2022 I see a variety of benefits for myself as well as the client. Beating line movement through this service is a great example of that.
